Pages, guides and journal articles are general information about marketing, not advice tailored to your business. Every business is different, so please get specific advice before acting on anything you read here.

Sending an enquiry or booking a strategy session does not create an engagement and does not oblige either of us to proceed. The session is free and no obligation. We will only contact you about your enquiry and, if you subscribed, the mailing list.

Website, SEO, Google Ads and local search work is quoted in writing after the strategy session. The scope, fees, timing and any advertising budget are set out in that quote, which forms the agreement between us together with these terms. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Advertising budget paid to Google or Meta is separate from management fees and is charged by those platforms. Their own terms and policies apply to your account and ads, and they may approve, restrict or reject advertising at their discretion.

Search rankings, ad performance and enquiry volume depend on your market, competitors, budget and how quickly leads are followed up. We report honestly on what the work produces, and we do not guarantee particular rankings, positions or a specific number of leads.

Invoices are payable by the date on the invoice. Work may be paused on overdue accounts. Advertising budgets are billed directly to you by the advertising platform unless the quote says otherwise.

Once fees for a project are paid, you own the website content, copy and creative produced for your business. Content, images and code on this site belong to The Bearded Marketer and may not be copied without permission.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, our liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the fees paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
