After your strategy session

Here's whatto do next.

This is the page Anthony sends after a strategy session, so nothing we talked about gets lost in a notebook. Work down it in order — you don't need to do it all this week.

Your next steps

01

Send through the access

Google Business Profile, your website's hosting or dashboard, Google Ads and Analytics. Give manager access rather than sharing a password — it's safer, and you can pull it back any time.

02

Make sure your Google Business Profile reads correctly

Category, opening hours, service area, phone number and a booking link. Get those five right and most local searches are already leaning your way.

03

Ask ten happy customers for a Google review

Reviews are the strongest signal a local business actually controls. Send the message below this week — straight after the job, while the goodwill is still warm.

04

Fix the one page that should be enquiring for you

Your homepage or your quote page. One headline that says what you do and where, one clear offer, one button, and the phone number visible without scrolling.

05

Set one number and one goal

A monthly figure you're happy to spend, and the single thing you want more of — calls, forms or walk-ins. Every decision after that gets measured against it.

Copy this review message

Swap the square brackets for your details and send it as a text or an email. Keep it short — people say yes to a message they can read in one glance.

Hi [name], it's Anthony. Thanks again for choosing us for the [job] — glad it worked out.
Would you mind putting a couple of lines on Google? It takes about 30 seconds and it's
what helps the next person find us: [paste your Google review link here]
Appreciate it.

Not sure where your review link is? It's on your Google Business Profile — or ask Anthony and he'll send it to you.

Tips worth keeping

Write it the way you'd say it

Nobody types 'affordable solutions provider'. They type 'blocked drain Cairns' and expect an answer. Use the words you'd use on the phone.

Test your site on a phone that isn't yours

Open it on someone else's handset. Whatever feels slow or fiddly there is the thing worth fixing first — that's the experience your customers have.

One offer per page

A page asking for a call, a quote, a newsletter sign-up and a chat all at once is really asking for nothing. Pick the one that matters and let the rest wait.

Ask how they found you, then write it down

Every new customer, one question, one notebook. A month of those answers tells you more about your marketing than any dashboard will.

Before we next talk, have these ready

  • Your three most profitable services, in order.
  • The customers you'd like more of — and the ones you'd rather stop chasing.
  • Screenshots of your current listing and website, exactly as they look today.
  • The question you've been meaning to ask for months.

Any of this unclear, or you'd rather hand it over? Call Anthony on 0466 444 477 or email [email protected]. This page isn't going anywhere — bookmark it, or forward it to whoever looks after your marketing.
